Treat Yo Self

Sometimes, you just gotta listen to Tom and Donna and treat yo self.

I fell in love with this pretty purse the second I saw it posted on Hello Holiday.

SO MUCH PRETTY.  Giant kisslock, sweet scallop detail, it comes with two straps so it can be crossbody or a handbag and it's coral.  I loved it.  I wanted it.  So I decided to treat myself and get it.  It was a little pricier than what I would typically spend on a bag, but I thought it would be worth it.  So one night I went ahead and clicked that dangerous button - Add to cart.

That's when I saw that it would be $20 to ship it.

And as much as I loved the purse, that $20 was making me reconsider.  So I didn't complete the sale, and instead spent the entire next day obsessing over it.  I found a code for 10% off, and figured that that would be enough to push me over the edge and just go ahead and order it.  That's when I got a lovely email from the ladies at Hello Holiday saying that they noticed I hadn't completed my sale and to let them know if I had any questions or if there was anything they could do.  And just to sweeten the pot, they threw in a code for FREE SHIPPING.

How genius is that?  I don't know about you guys - but I put stuff into virtual carts and abandon the sale all the freaking time.  And most of the time, it's because I see the total and how much it will be to ship it and just bail.  So to get this code was exactly what I needed for me to log into the old Pay Pal and get it ordered up.

It shipped super quickly and was about the prettiest package I've ever received.  I've read Megan's blog posts about how important packaging is to them and they did not disappoint.  Pretty paper, ribbons tied in a bow, a handwritten thank you, a free button - it was all lovely.

I am in love with the bag.  I literally expect people to come running up to me in the street asking where I got it, because it's just that darn cute.  It's a lot smaller than what I'm used to (I think I'll still have to bust out my old Samsonite for trips to the movies - need the room for smuggling!) but it's nice to only have the essentials on me.

I will definitely be shopping at Hello Holiday again - I've already got my eye on these and this and I want basically every single dress on there, but have to restrain myself.

If you see me out and about, feel free to rush up to me and tell me how much you love my purse, it would really make my day!
