Vivian Vendredi - The Artist

I don't know what it is, but colouring makes Vivian seem so grown up.  Maybe it's the fact that she actually has something that interests her that doesn't involve banging her head on the floor in a fit of rage, but seeing her sit at her little table and colour just makes her seem like a real person.

She's been colouring a lot lately.  I made her crayons ages ago by melting them down in a silicone ice cube tray so she has little chubby triangles that are easy for her to grasp and because they're made of lots of different crayons, she gets all the colours in one piece.  Genius, I know.  Of course, the colouring doesn't always stay on the page.  There is currently Vivian "art" on the gate and windows.  That's what Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are made for though, right?

Who knows, maybe they'll be worth something someday.  This is clearly the face of a gifted artist.

She's getting so big! She is adorable and I can tell by looking at her face that she has a whole lot of (exhausting) personality packed into one little body.
