Sometimes you don't even have to ask to receive!
After showing a coworker the pictures from the Mad Men party, she told me that her mother had the same vintage Crock Pot as I do, only in avocado green. Naturally, the crock pot showed up on my desk the next day to come live with its retro brother.
I love them - how could you not? They're so awesome! Got any good Crock Pot recipes I can try out?

Apple pork chops!
Layer Pork chops, applesauce, and onion slices (repeat) add a bit of cinnamon. so good!!
